This is surprisingly my first time ever trying out blogging. This is going to be a journey we’ll be going through together. I guess I should start off my discussing the current progress I am making with Reasons for Thievery. Though it comes out next month, I’m still working on formatting the ebook—which is proving quite difficult. But, once it’s done, preorders will be making their way to Amazon. I’m hoping to get a lot done this Memorial Day weekend. I think my schedule for this blog will be trying to get out something every Monday. Makes sense, considering I’m writing this on a Monday, and Mondays are boring, so many this might gives some of y’all a smile.

Clearly I didn’t hold up to my promise to write on Mondays. Lovely. But, I have had some good developments over the past ten days. I’ll count them off. 1) I now have books located in some special places. Please check out the amazing stores that are Oblong Books and Little Pickles. They both were so kind in accepting consignments with my book! 2) I’m going to be in the newspaper! A reporter from the local newspaper asked to speak with me! It went so well and I’m so excited to read about myself through someone else’s eyes. And 3) You can now find my book on Goodreads! I think that might be all, and it might not sound like much, but I will always be grateful for it. I’m so happy to have such supportive people at my side.

Oh. My. Goodness. I am so sorry for not updating in so longgggg. In my defense, I’m still a high schooler with finals quickly approaching. But things have been going so good! I’ve been featured in my local newspaper, The Daily Catch! And I’d stopped into town to give some copies to the library, and now we’re in contact with the director so we can plan an Author Talk in the coming months. How exciting!? I’ll have to work on my public speaking, though.
